Venue and Travel
The congress site is the campus of
Cleveland State University,
located on Euclid Avenue, one mile from downtown Cleveland. Click
here for a campus map. 
The hub of the congress is University
Center (UC, picture on right), where you will find the registration desk, commercial
exhibits, lunch and refreshments, and poster sessions. Oral presentations
will be in the UC and adjacent MU and MC buildings. Congress participants
will have access to the Internet Cafe in UC and campuswide wireless internet.
A password will be in the program book you receive with registration.

is within walking distance.
Air Travel
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
is served by all major U.S. airlines, as well as Air Canada.
Immigration
Please verify whether or not you
need a visa to enter the United States. If you are from a country in the
"visa waiver" program, you will only need to fill out the green I-94
form when entering the U.S. We have been told that you must supply the
address of your U.S. accomodation, so make sure you have your hotel information
with you when you travel. If you stay at the CSU campus, the address is
2130 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115. Immigration procedures are
not to be taken lightly these days.
Train
Cleveland's Amtrak station is at 200

Bus
The Greyhound bus station is at 1465
Chester Avenue, a 5-10 minute walk from the congress site. Go to www.greyhound.com
for tickets and reservations.
Driving Directions
For many in the US and Canada, Cleveland
will be within driving distance. Toronto and Chicago are only 5 hours away.
New York is at 7 hours. CSU parking passes will be available. If you plan to
arrive by sailboat or submarine, contact the Cleveland
Port Authority.
Local Transportation
Taxi fare from Cleveland Hopkins airport
to downtown is about $25. The airport also has a train connection to downtown,
for a fare of $1.50. See Greater Cleveland RTA
for details on public transportation. There is also a commercial bus service:
Hopkins Transportation Service.
Some hotels may provide complimentary transportation.
For the congress social events on
Tuesday and Friday, transportation will be provided. On Wednesday afternoon,
there will be an ongoing shuttle service for transportation to shopping, biomechanics
laboratories, and museums. For details see Program.
Weather
During the first week of August, temperatures
in Cleveland are typically between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius (72-81 Fahrenheit).
