Dear Potential Sponsor,
The organizing committee of the XXth Congress of the International Society of Biomechanics is inviting key companies from around the world to participate as sponsors of the combined meetings of the International Society of Biomechanics and the American Society of Biomechanics being held in Cleveland, Ohio from August 1-5, 2005. It is expected that this meeting will attract over 1000 delegates from around the world allowing companies and organizations direct contact with the top researchers in the field as well as a chance to reveal the wealth and diversity of Cleveland.
Highlighted below are several key opportunities for sponsorship. All sponsors will be given naming rights to the sponsored events, an active link on the Congress website and recognition in the Congress handbook received by all delegates. To become a sponsor, please submit the application form in this brochure either by mail or online. Sponsorship opportunities will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Rates will be discounted 25% for submissions received prior to July 1, 2004.
If these opportunities fall outside of your requirements but you still wish to support the meeting, contact the organizing committee to discuss alternatives.
Major Sponsor: $25,000 US
The major sponsor will be the cornerstone partner in the Congress. Benefits are negotiable but may include:
- Sponsorship of a key social event
- Corporate logo on name badges and Congress material
- Representation on the scientific committee
- Choice of exhibit site
Congress Dinner: $8,000 US
A major social event of the Congress. The evening will include pre-dinner drinks, dinner and entertainment. The dinner will be an opportunity for the sponsor to be associated with a highly visable and memorable evening. Benefits include:
- Opportunity to decorate venue with promotional material
- Six (6) complimentary dinner tickets
Welcome Reception: $6,000 US
This event is held on Sunday evening and is part of the official opening of the Congress. Sponsor benefits include:
- Opportunity to decorate venue with promotional material
- Four (4) complimentary tickets
Poster Session: $5,000 US
There will be two poster session which will be held adjacent to the Exhibition venue. Interested parties can sponsor both events or an individual session.
Symposia Sponsor: $5,000 US
Details of the Congress Symposia are being finalized allowing for input from sponsors. There will be a range of topics available. Contact the organizing committee if you are interested in sponsoring a scientific symposium.
Congress Totes: $5,000 US
Attendees receive a tote bag at registration which will display the sponsor's logo on the back.
Registration Brochure, Call for Abstracts and Pre-Congress Publicity Material: $5,000 US
Pre-congress promotional material will be distributed periodically in the months leading up to the meeting. This will provide sponsors with the opportunity to present the company logo on promotional pre-registration material.
Keynote Speakers: $2,500 US
The sponsoring corporation will fund the keynote speaker's expenses including travel, accomodation and registration fee. Contact the organizing committee for the list of speakers.
Lunches: $2,000 US per day
Lunch will be provided each day in the exhibition area. This presents an ideal opportunity to expose your corporate identity to a large percentage of the delegates.
Exhibition Happy Hour: $2,000 US per day
Happy hours will be held within the Exhibit Hall after selected Congress sessions depending on the level of sponsorship.
Student Social Program: $1,500 US
This program will incorporate student-focused activities throughout the Congress. It will give the sponsor a chance to promote their company to the next generation of researchers.
Coffee Breaks: $750 US per day
Morning and afternoon coffee breaks will be provided for all delegates in the exhibition area. Sponsors will have the opportunity to profile their corporate logo at the event.
Tote Bag Insert: $400 US per item
The sponsor will be given the opportunity to insert a promotional brochure or other item in the Congress tote bag.
