Dear Potential Exhibitor,

Please accept this invitation on behalf of the Organizing Committee to participate as an Exhibitor at the XXth Congress of the International Society of Biomechanics held in conjunction with the 29th meeting of the American Stociety of Biomechanics. The Exhibition is an essential component of the meeting and will provide delegates with the opportunity to evaluate the state of the art equipment from leading companies in the field. We look forward to your contributions in making this a successful meeting.

Venue

The venue for the Exhibition is the University Center Building on the campus at Cleveland State University. This spacious, bright area is an ideal area to display your products. More information on the Exhibitor area and the CSU campus in general can be found at CSU's Virtual Tour.

Promotion of the Exhibition Center

The Exhibition venue is located in a public area allowing easy access to Congress delegates, faculty and students at the University. The Welcome Reception on Sunday evening and lunch each day (excluding Friday) will be held in the Exhibition Hall.

On or more Happy Hour(s) (subject to sponsorship) will be held in the Exhibition area to encourage delegates to spend time viewing the displays and interacting with the vendors and each other. This will help to insure that the facility has maximum exposure.

Exhibitor Fees

Fee schedule and amenities for the exhibition are as follows:

$2,000: Tables A through K (10 feet by 10 feet)
$1,500: Tables L through P (8 feet by 8 feet)

  • Exhibitor table with four (4) electrical outlets 110 V and 60 Hz.
  • Conference registration for one (1) company representative including attendance to the Welcome Reception and all special functions held amongst the Exhibition stands (Tables A - K ONLY).
  • One (1) ticket to the Congress dinner Friday, August 5th.
  • Listing in the Congress Handbook.
  • Cleaning (excluding goods on display).

Safety

The venue will be manned by the campus police after hours. During the day time it is the responsibility of the exhibitors to ensure the security of their equipment as well as to provide adequate insurance for theft and damage. If exhibitors need extra security, for times they know they will not be in attendance, they should let the Congress Organizers know in advance.

Application for Space

Application for exhibition space can be made by downloading and printing the request form (PDF file will open a new browser window). Application should be forwarded with a 50% deposit for the designated space. Upon receipt of the deposit, the table will be allocated to you and a written confirmation sent. Checks should be made payable to "ISB 2005."

The balance of the charge for the allocated space will be due on March 1, 2005. If final payment is not received by that time, you will forfeit your position at the Exhibition.

Cancellation

If notification of cancellation of space is received prior to March 1, 2005, the deposit will be refunded less an administration charge of $200 US. After that date, no refunds will be made.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel the exhibition not later than three months prior to the opening date in case of extenuating circumstances. In such a situation, all monies paid to the ISB will be refunded in full. The liability of the organizers will be limited to that amount.
