Accomodation
A wide range of accomodation is available, most are downtown and within walking distance of the congress site.
Some are near the cultural and educational institutions at
University Circle,
several miles away. University Circle is where the satellite meetings of the ISB Technical
Groups are held, prior to the ISB/ASB congress.
Student residences
Rooms in Viking Hall can be booked
and paid with your congress registration, through the online
registration system. Single rooms
(100 rooms, $300/week) SOLD
OUT. Double rooms
(150 rooms, $175/week per person) are SOLD OUT.
An occasional room will open up through a cancellation. Continue
to check the online registration system for possible last minute openings.
These will be assigned on a first come first served basis. These rooms are available
only to registering conference attendees. You may specify a roommate when
registering. You may also book extra nights before and after the congress. All
rooms have private bathrooms and airconditioning, but no TV and no telephone.
Viking Hall is across the street from the congress site (E on Hotel
Map). If you arrive late on July 30 or 31, there will be someone all
night (24 hours) to give you your room keys.
Downtown Hotels
Rooms have been reserved, at discounted
rates, for participants of the ISB/ASB 2005 congress. You are responsible for
making your own reservations and payment arrangements. The discounted rates
are valid until the specified deadline, or until sold out.
